these are all TRUE stories from Leigh, our new favorite traveling nurse buddy who's been a L&D nurse for 30 yrs!

1. A doc gave a pt a prescription for Monistat and told her to apply it locally. The patient was extremely concerned because she was going out of town!
2. Nurse asked the patient if she had a living will on admission. The pt said, "No, I have city water."
3. Nurse gave the pt an oxygen mask and told the pt "we need to give your baby some oxygen." the nurse turned to adjust the flow meter and when she turned back around the pt had the mask btwn her legs!
4. Pt came in with a bad sunburn and told the nurse she didn't want her baby to come out pale!
5. The sickest- a pt's husband told the doc and nurse he thought his wife had an orgasm. In explaining he said, "her eyes rolled back in her head, she lost control of her bowel's and she starting gyrating all over." Sir, we medical people call that a seizure!!!

Most importantly, you must watch this clip on youtube. Called husband's revenge. It's about a man who told his wife not to mess with his gun he was cleaning. It's great!

All is well with us. We are supposed to get new Euro-top mattresses today. Then we are leaving for WV to go white water rafting. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
